WELCOME TO WILD WORDS


I'm Corry Chaplin - founder of Wild Words. I have been practicing writing and mindfulness for many years, and I am also a 
certified mindfulness teacher, journal writing facilitator, and grief educator. I know first-hand how valuable these teachings are for navigating life's complexities, and I am deeply grateful for the opportunity to share them with you.

I believe there is a wellspring of wisdom within each one of us, which often goes unnoticed. The tools I offer are designed to help you explore and integrate this wisdom, resulting in a greater capacity to engage with life. 

HONOURING THE WILD
My workshops honour the presence of the wild. I view wildness as a natural and intelligent force that is aligned with our innate wholeness. When we learn to respect our wildness, we can connect to our authentic freedom, power and intuition. When we cultivate a reverent relationship with the wild, we return to our rightful place in the sacred web of life.

WORKSHOPS

Wild Words Workshops are practical, evidence-based & empowering.
Suitable for all levels, each course is designed to help you easily incorporate writing, mindfulness, or grief support into your everyday life.

WRITING promotes agency, insight and expression. When we bring a gentle curiosity and acceptance to our thoughts, feelings and words, we learn that it's okay to show up just as we are. A Wild Words writing practice creates space to explore the richness and beauty of our emerging human stories.

MINDFULNESS benefits all aspects of experience. This ancient wisdom practice helps us cultivate awareness of the present moment, compassion for self and other, and the ability to bring a kind attention to whatever arises. It also helps us turn toward and savour that which is nourishing & supportive.

GRIEF SUPPORT is essential to navigating loss. Death can shatter our assumptive world, launching us into a strange and unfamiliar reality that feels isolating and overwhelming. Mindful journal writing can be a powerful tool to help grievers find their way through the profound path of pain, love and loss.
