Corry Chaplin
Corry Chaplin has an extensive background in writing, mindfulness, and workshop facilitation. She is a certified Mindfulness Meditation Teacher (with Tara Brach & Jack Kornfield), and has specialized skills in leading journal writing workshops and nature connection practices. Corry is a former journalist and publisher, and has worked in hospice and healthcare settings for over a decade. She also has additional certifications in grief education & trauma-sensitive practices. As a person with lived experience of traumatic loss, she knows first-hand the value of practising mindfulness and journal writing for navigating life's many challenges - including the complexity of grief. She is deeply honoured to share these valuable tools and teachings with others.

GRIEF-SENSITIVE MINDFULNESS is a unique program that validates the needs of grievers through adaptive practices for loss. You will learn practical ways to use mindfulness to support yourself as you navigate the complex journey of grief.
Sessions include grief-sensitive meditations and strategies to help you develop your own practice. We will also explore some pitfalls that traditional mindfulness may present for grievers – along with some grief-specific benefits.
